LGN (el-jin) describes his music as the “transparent voice of the contemporary millennial.”

With his thought-provoking lyrics about love and realities of life and with melodies that can make anyone move, LGN effortlessly blends contemporary R&B sounds with true Hip-Hop vibes.

A self-taught vocalist, LGN developed his voice by mimicking artists he was introduced to during his childhood ––the likes of Jackie Wilson, Stevie Wonder, John Legend, and Terrance Trent Darby to name a few.

Hailing from Atlanta, GA, LGN attended Drexel University where he was a member of the basketball team. Upon graduating, he went on to earn his masters from Cornell in 2019. After graduation he began writing and creating original music as a pastime. On November 6, 2021, his perfectly entitled debut EP “What Am I Doing?” was released, and LGN was officially born. Since then, LGN has continued to grow and push the beginnings of what will prove to be a LGNdary run.

In early March of 2023 LGN released his first Studio LP “…of Love”. The lead single, a country-pop crossover entitled “Self-Care”, has surpasssd 50k streams worldwide, and the second “Temptation” (20K worldwide) set an AMAZING tone for the freshman release. Currently streaming everywhere, “…of Love” resonates with R&B and Hip-Hop lovers alike and definitely won’t disappoint.

With heavy interest from major labels and publishing houses alike, LGN went on a 10-city US Tour (Brooklyn, Philly, ATL, Austin, Seattle to name a few). Currently, LGN is back in Ithaca, gearing up to record new music and vibes in preparation for his next project. Entitled “…of Love: evoL Wasteland” this project promises to be game-changing and NOTHING SHORT of LGNdary. Enjoy!
